Osteopathy

Le corps, un dialogue vivant

Osteopathy is a manual therapy approach focused on restoring the body’s mobility and preventing imbalances that can contribute to pain or discomfort. It considers the body as an interconnected system, where each structure, from muscles and joints to organs and tissues, plays a role in maintaining overall function.

Restore balance

Through precise techniques, the osteopath supports the body in restoring its natural balance and activating its self-regulation mechanisms. Osteopathy can help address musculoskeletal conditions, as well as digestive, gynaecological, urinary, ENT, and respiratory concerns. It also provides support during key stages of life, including pregnancy, childhood development, and post-surgical recovery.

A personalised approach for everyone

This practice is suitable for everyone: adults, pregnant women, infants, children, athletes, and seniors.

Osteopathic techniques

For Lisa, every individual is unique, and every session is tailored accordingly. Her techniques are adapted to your age, physical condition, and sensitivity, helping restore mobility and promote overall balance within the body.

My vision is for my treatment space to be a place where everyone feels safe, listened to, and understood: a space where they can fully embrace who they are. A place to reconnect with their inner world, their body, and their sensations. In a society that often encourages us to suppress our emotions, I want my treatment room to offer a return to oneself, to one’s true essence.

Structural techniques

They primarily focus on joints, muscles, and fascia. These techniques aim to restore mobility and improve postural balance by working on mechanical restrictions within the body.

Functional techniques

A gentle approach that respects the body’s natural movement patterns. The osteopath supports the tissues in releasing tension, helping reduce restrictions and promote the body’s natural self-regulation processes.

Visceral techniques

They focus on the mobility of internal organs, including the digestive, respiratory, and urogenital systems. By addressing their attachments and surrounding tissues, the osteopath supports improved interaction between organ mobility and overall posture.

Craniosacral techniques

They are based on very gentle touch applied to the skull, spine, and sacrum. These techniques aim to balance tensions within the nervous system and encourage a state of deep relaxation.

Sports techniques

Designed for athletes of all levels, from recreational to competitive, these techniques support the body throughout preparation, performance, recovery, and injury prevention. They aim to optimise mobility, posture, and movement coordination to enhance athletic function.

Paediatric and perinatal techniques

From infancy to adolescence, and throughout pregnancy and the postpartum journey, every body experiences unique stages of development. Paediatric and perinatal techniques offer a gentle, balanced, and supportive approach tailored to each stage of life.
